Applet talking to IIS ISAPI

I ma writing an applet which needs to talk to a Web Server where the applet and the Web Server are not on the same IP.

Due to the security problem, the applet cannot talk directly with the Web Server.  What I want to do is that the applet will talk to the ISAPI of the IIS (on the same IP with the applet) and then the ISAPI will talk to the Web Server (not on the same IP of the applet).

I have tried this before, so, is there any reference about how to talk to an ISAPI from an applet, how to create an ISAP and how an ISAPI can receive data from the applet and send data to other web server?

Is the IIS on the same machine as the web server?

No, the IIS and the applet are on the same machine such that the applet can talk to the IIS, and the Web Server is on the different machine.
