did you try to do this from the workstation? it's best to do this stuff on the servers themselves. this way you avoid possible client problems

when i try to add a &quot;trusting domain&quot;(Domain B) to my Domain A, it prompt me the error message &quot;The domain can not be contacted&quot;. &nbsp;What could be the problem ?<br />

Hi,

when i try to add a "trusting domain"(Domain B) to my Domain A, it prompt me the error message "The domain can not be contacted".  What could be the problem ?

If i try to add a "trusting domain" Domain B to my Domain C, there is no problem.

The following are the environment setup
Domain A is win2k Advance server
Domain B is a NT4 SP6a domain
Domain C is a win2k standard server
