I don't know whether this is still the case or not but you used to able to download a time limited version of Ghost. I've successfully shrunk partitions many times by simply ghosting the image to a smaller size.

ghost doesn't seem to be available for trial anymore. &nbsp;i looked into ranish as well and it seems to say that it can only resize fat partitions.

I currently have an NTFS Windows 2000 partition taking up my whole disk. &nbsp;I want to shrink it so I can dual boot with FreeBSD. &nbsp;The free partition shrinkers that I know of only work with FAT. &nbsp;I know Partition Magic could do the job, but I'd rather not spend the money unless I have to. &nbsp;Does anyone know of a free program that can reliably shrink my NTFS partion?
