Problem with ftp 'Get' locking the remote file.

Basically what I am trying to do is to retrieve a file from a FTP server to my local machine, I am using
the Internet transfer control. The "GET" operation works and the file is retrieved to my local machine,
however the file on the server seems to stay locked. When I try to delete it I get an "Access is denied."
error. This error also occurs when I login from a command prompt and try a "DEL". The server machine
has to be rebooted before the file is freed.

Anyone got any ideas what?s wrong?

Thanks,
Gur.

Sounds like possibly a bug in the implementation of the ftp server.  If you use a command line ftp session (Start/Run/ftp) to get the file, does the same thing happen?  If yes, then the problem is in the server, if no, then the problem is in the control.  After the GET, do you know how control terminates its ftp session with the server?
