Big Database restore issue
Our database size is about 180G and I am trying to restore this database from SAN storage (Local drive don't have enough space to save this) to SQL 7.0 (Service Pack3) Enterprise Edition with NT 4.0 Enterprise Server.
I got the I/O error. If I restore it to SQL7 with Windows 2000 Advanced Server, there is no problem.
Microsoft told me that's NT4.0 problem. They said if it's over 150G, NT4.0 has a problem to restore it.
Anybody has an experience with this problem?
How do you resolve it?
