Expanding a Non-Disk Device in SQL Server 6.5

how do I expand my temp_db device which is currently 20MB to 100MB?  This device is resident in RAM.  I've tried:

disk resize
name='temp_db',
size=100000

this returned the result - "Msg 5148, Level 16, State 1
Disk Resize can be used only to expand non-RAM devices."

is this the correct way to do this?  If so, what is the correct syntax?

Assuming SQL 7.0 or later, maybe try:

ALTER DATABASE tempdb
NAME = tempdev,
SIZE = 100
