Is there a way to tell windows explorer what folders to open up to.  Currently it opens up to my documents.  but every time i open it i what to go to

my computer -  local C - projects - gui - launch

is there a way to specify to open up this folder or have a shortcut to get to the folder without having to click my way there?

Right click on your explorer shortcut (or create a new one if you dont have one already) and select properties.  On the shortcut tab of the properties window there is a target field which will be something like c:\winnt\explorer.exe.

To have explorer start in a specified folder change the target to  C:\WINNT\explorer.exe /e, c:\projects\gui\launch

When you run explorer it will open in the launch folder.

How about having shortcut keys to open specific folders while your in explorer.
