If you are on Windows, are you using ActiveState's perl?

If so, use the PPM package.

Go to a dos promp and type ppm.  At the ppm prompt, type help for a list of commands.  It is pretty self explanatory.

dill
The package name is Image-Magick and the current version is 5.26.

In PPM, type search image.  It'll give you all the packages with the word image in them.

You can then type install [packagename].

keep in mind you have to have imageMagick installed first

which is not perl.

just like any other prog...

download it, and install it.

if you are asking this, you probably aren't used to compiling and installing software, so I suggest you d/l the precompiled binaries here
http://www.imagemagick.org/www/archives.html

Hi Maneshr,

A new ee type board starting up, called carboit.com

you may want to check it out...they don't have a perl/cgi area yet, but I am sure they will soon.

anant99,

"...long time no see......"

Pre-occupied with some personal stuff.

"..I am logged in as admin....but still the error..."

So let me understand the problem here.

* You wanted to install the PERL ImageMAgick module.
Q) Have you been able to complete that install at all?

* You also want to install the ImageMagick base software
Q) The error that you are getting is while doing the above, right?

Please provide the latest info, with as much more details as you can.
