Profile in Win 2000 professional
HI there
I am having this strange problem. Every 15-20 days my profile get corrupted and a new default profile is launched. I then have to go back delete the user and re create the profile.
Is this a problem with my machine or win 2000. I have a Celeron 366 and 64 MB Ram.
Please advise.
Thanks
Mahesh

Generally, this can be caused by repeated logons/log offs, memory leaks, a network problem with either the card, connection or server or a problem locating a networked or shared drive.

Please let me know if there is any solution for this. Does it have a patch program ? What do i have to do so that it does not occur again.
Thanks in advance

May be it is a memory leak or network problem. I sometimes don't switch on the 2000 server and try to access another machine on the network and it takes a long long time. I also keep experimenting by installing various demo softwares also. Could it be that one of these softwares is the culprit.

Sure could be. Demo's, especially if you're installing and uninstalling on a regular basis will cause this.
