No Objects found in Ethernet

I have two PCs, a Pentium and a 486 (both with win95), on a Linksys Ethernet setup (same workgoup). The Pentium has a 10/100 mbps PCI NIC, the 486 a 10 mbps ISA NIC. In the Pentiums 'Network Neighborhood' I can see the 486, which has a folder for its HD contents. But if I'm on the 486, I can see the Pentiums name ok, but if I try to access its drive, I see '0 objects' in the window that pops up.
    Any idea what I've missed?

At the moment under the Network Configuration tab I have the following listed:

Client for MicroSoft Networks
Linksys LNE100TX Fast Ethernet Adapter
IPX/SPX-compatible protocol
NetBEUI
TCP/IP
NetBIOS
File and Printer sharing

Note that in IPX/SPX-compatible protocol there was a check mark I checked that installed NetBIOS

As far as sharing, I have File and Print sharing enabled on both machines, though at the moment the printers not installed. Primary logon is Client for MicroSoft Networks.
on the pentium, go into windows explorer, highlight the c drive and right click, choose sharing and share the drive. Just enableing file and printer sharing is not enough, you hae to share something
Thanks Steve, you were right on the money. No a word about this in the Linksys manual...
