Is it possible to save an ASCII text file in a format that can be read by Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0?  If so, what needs to happen in order to accomplish this?

Thanks!

I ran into a similar problem and found a product by Zeon Corp that creates a printer that can be selected like any other system printer and outputs a pdf file. I've had very good luck with it. I don't know if this will help or not. I think the web site is www.zeon.com.

FireTail,

Thanks for your suggestion.  I was able to find the product you told me about at http://www.pdfwizard.com/zeoncom/.

As it turns out, I didn't need it because the version of Acrobat Reader (5.0) that my users have will already accomplish what this software does.  I was having problems with Acrobart Reader not loading the files.  Then I unistalled the Zeon software, and that's when I noticed that Adobe Distiller was still an option in the Print dialog box.

Anyhow, I was not using the Print dialog box before, and never would have added it to my app without your suggestion to use the Zeon product.  So you deserve the points for getting me headed in the right direction.

Thanks for you help!

Dave
