C++ Distribution

Is there any way I can build a C++ application so that any resources I need are built into the exe file rather than installed separately as DLLs? I was of the impression that I would be able to compile a project to an exe file then distribute that file without creating an install package if I wished to do so.

That depends largely on a number of things:

1. What are the resources being used in your application? That's to say, are you using anything that isn't on every platform you are targeting?

2. What compiler/development environment aere you using? Some compilers will allow you to statically compile resources into your EXE (such as BCB, my fave), where I believe do not.

Good luck!!
yes you can include any this u want in the exe resources see this page:

I think you forgot this question. I will ask Community Support to close it unless you finalize it within 7 days. Unless there is objection or further activity,  I will suggest to PAQ at zero points since you never gave more feedback.
