Thumbnail Views

Not a really technical question, but...

I have always viewed my folders with pictures with the thumbnail view.  Now all of a sudden I don't get the thumbnail view, just an IE icon the size of a thumbnail.  My bitmap images are still viwed as thumbnails though so the problem only exists with .jpg and .gif.

Thanks for help.

Well, I just spent the last two hours trying to fix mine.  I recreated the problem on my computer by deleting the JPG file extention from the tools >folderoptions tab.

I tried booting from the last known good menu and that didn't help, I also tried recreating the JPG extention of known file types, still no love.

I just reloaded the browser and they started showing up again....  not the most technical fix in the world but I'm all for keeping it simple.

CrazyOne - That reg fix worked perfectly , cheers.

ajprice - I don't use internet explorer so I didn't want re-install it.

Glad it worked for you...

Probably could have saved myself a reload if
I had read Crazy's post first.  That was good
work.
