Linking context sensitive help to a VB6 application

In a VB6 application, using Robo Help as my Help Authoring tool, how do I get context sensitive HTML Help to appear when I press F1?

You need to the HelpContextID property of controls.

I have tried this but it seems to suggest I need to use API calls.  I was hoping for a little detail.
Which version of RoboHelp are you using and what sort of help are you authoring (HTML, classic)?
