Hi,

I want to change the date fromat from mm/dd/yyyy to dd/mm/yyyy in my win2k server.  I have try to use "Regional Option" to change it.  But this option only apply to the particular login id.  I wonder how can i change the date format in the server so that whoever login, the system date will be display in "dd/mm/yyyy" format. Pls provide me the detail step if Group Policy is the option being subjected.  Thanks

regards

Well, if you copy the user profile to default user ( after making the date change ), then all new users, will inherit the date change.

Other options are to use the sysdiff or other tools to see what the registry change is, and apply it to the startup for all users.

I hope this helps !

See if either of both of these registry settings do the trick for you

HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\International
sShortDate

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\International
sShortDate
