Hi,
there are a few things missing in your question and I have a few holes of knowledge wrt sco unix. However, you will find that the boot process is somewhat compatible between the different flavours (at least between solaris and linux).
You may want to dive into the standard documentation for linux for diskless systems. (http://www.linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/Diskless-HOWTO-12.html)

The standard way is to use a client (either on floppy or an eeprom on the NIC) on your installation client which
a) discovers it's own ip address using a rarp request
b) downloads it's boot program using tftp
c) starts the kernel
d) mounts the root filesystem via NFS

I am sure that SCO offers some form of support for this.

Hope this helps.
