"C" Compiler for Mac OS 9.X?

I am taking a C Programming course and would like to know if there is a "C" Compiler available for the Macintosh. If so, where can I find it? Thanks!

Do you have any experience with any C compiler? Being a beginner (as I am!), which one (freeware is poss.) do you recommend? Thanks!

Bobby
Looking at those listed on your linked page, I'm unclear as to which one I need. I've never heard of 'Code Warrior'. I'd like to find a compiler that is independent of other software. Thanks weed.

Im not a programmer so i'm not sure about the technicalities. CodeWarrior is considered the premier programmers tool for Mac but there are different breeds of it.

Yes. I also feel that Macintosh Programmers Workshop and the C compiler available with is the best option to begin with.

If you are looking for a Integrated development environment I would suggest Metrowerks CodeWarrior.
