Toshiba Satellite 2800 bios question

I have updated the bios on a friends Toshiba Satellite 2800 and it works fine, however the computer is turning itself off after about 5-10 minutes and needs the power button held down to turn on again and the user logging again. Previously moving the mouse logged back in.
On my own machine I can access the bios settings when tuening on the machine by holding down the F2 key. I cannot find a similiar setting for the Toshiba.
Any ideas?
