W2K and Soundblaster 128 PCI
Hi.
I've just installed W2K on my computer , a very nice OS I think but I have a problem with my soundblaster 128 . The sound works but very poor quality , looks like radio communication of WWII !!!! I've tried to change the drivers , to change the PCI slot , ... nothing works . But the card is OK , it's running well on W98 and Linux.
Do you have an idea of what could be wrong ??
Thanks.

I suggest a split between Steve Lewis and myself here.
No comment has been added lately, so it's time to clean up this TA.

Go to Control Panel, System, hardware, device manager, expand the Sound, video and game controllers.
Select the sound card device, right click to select Uninstall. Then selct the Sound, video and game controllers, right click and select "Scan for hardware changes". It will detect again.
See if this help.
