I had two machine, both running the same app with CHtmlView and WebBrowser2 control to load Html files<br />
But the strange thing is the slower-CPU machine (500 MHz)seemed to load the pages significantly faster than the other (800 MHz).<br />
So high CPU speed and big harddrive space do not help me here.<br />
I'd like to know what settings can affect this speed<br />

In which case, CHtmlCtrl can load a same page faster
