I reinstalled win2000 pro and now I get an error everytime I try to write to a floppy. It says &quot;The media is write protected.&quot; I can put the same floppy disk in my other computer and copy the same files by copying them off the network and the disk works fine. Can someone tell me what to do or should I have tried hardware. I thought maybe it's a setting that's wrong in 2000.<br />

Windows 2000 is an operating system for use on both client and server computers. It is the successor to Windows NT 4.0, and is the last version of Microsoft Windows to display the "Windows NT" designation.
