the application is running fine but many a times the CPU usage of the server goes to 100% and when i check the sql profiler....it shows me a lot of sql queiries....but thats not a problem...but the problem its shows me something..which i m not able to trace out...it goes like...

use infiniteopps SET
QUOTED_IDENTIFIER,ANSI_NULL_DFLT_ON,ANSI_PADDING,ANSI_WARNINGS,ANSI_NULLS
ON SET TEXTSIZE 2147483647

my db name is infiniteopps...
could any one tell me what is it exactly and is it effecting my CPU usage...

This is probably a new connection
use infiniteopps sets the database for the following actions

SET
QUOTED_IDENTIFIER,ANSI_NULL_DFLT_ON,ANSI_PADDING,ANSI_WARNINGS,ANSI_NULLS
ON SET TEXTSIZE 2147483647

This is just setting up defaults for the connection - you can find the meaning for them all in books on-line.
This will all be excecuted by your interface layer and is normal. (Would also expect to see a set language).

This should not be a problem unless you connect and disconnect connections frequently  - making a connecting is a resource intensive thing for the server. If this is a case then implement connection pooling.
