I've installed a w2k printserver. During Installation i choosed also the drivers for nt, w2k and w9x. But this didn't work. For example i can install an old HP Deskjet870 Driver for W9X but not for a HP Deskjet 1120, 970. I don't know why. Is there any help for me ?

Deskjet 1120 is not a standard NT4 printer driver, only available as 3rd party.
2 ways to get around:

1. get the NT4 printer driver and change the associated .inf, so the printer name equals the one W2k uses

2. get both 3rd party drivers for W2k and NT4, update the native driver to the 3rd party one and then add the NT4 driver

I personally prefer the 1st way, so at least printing from W2k workstations doesn't cause problems while printing from NT4 (especially with Deskjets, less problems with laser printers) doesn't work always. (Inkjet printers tend to use drivers, that don't work properly in a printserver environment. At the moment we have great problems with HP1120 on a W2k printserver)
