How to configure ODBC in Solaris?

Does Solaris support ODBC?? If Yes, How to configure data source for ODBC in Solaris/Unix Environment?

ODBC most likely needs to be part of the database you would like ODBC to host. Can you provide some more details about the hosting database you want to use ?

Thanks.

There are other ODBC drivers out there too. Most databases have a native client, e.g. mysql : http://www.mysql.com/doc/I/n/Installing_MyODBC.html

P.S.  For any year 2000 questions, special attention is needed to ensure the first correct response is awarded, since they are not in the comment date order, but rather in Member ID order.
I believe that I have answered this question thouroughly and even provided a link to additional information. I would recommend that I recieve the full 100 points.

In addition, I would like a car and a suit case full of $1,000,000 in small unmarked bills. :)
Indeed, thank you, finalized today.
:)
