No active mixer devices
I have an HP Brio BA200 which came with WIN98 installed, and I installed NT4.0 Workstation.
Now I get a message that says;
There are no active mixer devices available. You may install or activate mixer devices from the Control Panel.
This application will now exit.
OK.
I tried going to the hp website to download the drivers for NT, but that did not help. I would like to know if there is a way to fix ths problem without having to install a PCI sound card.
Thank you.

Werner, it's integrated to the mother board, but I did not find it in the HP website.

You said:"I tried going to the hp website to download the drivers for NT, but that did not help." What happened? Did you find NT drivers for the sound card or didn't they work?
You need to install the NT driver for your specific soundcard. If there is one integrated on the mobo, then you should be able to find them at HP's site. If it is a card, the manufacturer's website should give you the drivers.
Good Luck
