Sorry, Thet is bug of EE(it didn't place my comment)

this is the lastest version of Nero Burning Rom (5.5.4.0):
ftp://ftp2.nero.com/Nero5540.exe (this file includes cover edition)
and this is the best program for coping CDs (it is very simple):
      http://www.brennmeister.de/files/clonecd/SetupCloneCD.exe

When i use the cd copy function i get an error about 5% into the burn operation. The error states:

Write to CD failed, MEDIUM ERROR: WRITE ERROR: - LOSS OF STREAMING (3:0x0c:0x09)

Could you please tell me why i recieved this error, and how i can fix this problem? I am useing an internal hp cd-writer 9100 series.

Hi moe10,

Nero provides a convenient Wizard from File > New which will allow you to follow it to create a backup CD.

As well as File > CD-Copy to directly select an CD-Row to copy.

Regarding

> Write to CD failed, MEDIUM ERROR: WRITE ERROR: - LOSS OF STREAMING (3:0x0c:0x09)

Check the CD to backup, CD-write.

And if can, use new CD to burn, Copy the CD's files into Local Drive first, then copy the files from Local Drive.

regards.

in the nero option: CD-Copy. the selection menu is looking for a .nrg file. cd-copy creats three files: image.ccd, image.img, image.sub. How would i correctly burn these cd's with nero? Also the program cd-copy states that those files should be burned useing there program since that program created those files. Could you suggest any other ways of fixing the "loss of streaming error" that i am getting from cd-copy?

Place a link in Hardware(General) topic to this question. This will help to get an answer more quickly.
If you are trying to do a straight copy of a copyrighted cd, I suggest ya sniff around this site:

http://www.gamecopyworld.com

read up on cd burning, there are many copy protections that are going to cause problems with doing identical copies of copyrighted cd's. If you are just copying a data or music cd, that will be covered at this site also. Though I suspect you are trying to copy a game, and that can get complicated, but check out the link it will help.

If there are bad sectors, try using CloneCD, CloneCD copies the disc EXACTLY. Get it from http://www.clonecd-userpage.com

Hope this helps
Hi,

Try to write the cd Copy at the lowest speed.

Bye,
Anand.
Use Roxio's EZ CD creator.  You will have no problems with it.  It's the best program to burn CDs in my opinion.
