Can someone please help me with the following q's :

How to save a bitmap which is in a image component into a interbase table blob field by using a query component and paramaters.

How to display the bitmap stored in a Interbase blob field in a image component also using a query.

How to save a jpg which is in a image component into a interbase table blob field by using a query component and paramaters.

How to display the jpg stored in a Interbase blob field in a image component also using a query.

I usually just use TBlobField(Table.FieldByName('Something')).LoadFromFile / SaveToFile

and then Image1.Picture.LoadFromFile / SaveToFile

It uses a file on your hard drive, but it is simple :)

I made a simple project to store and save the images to blob fields and it working fine with paradox, access and oracle without changing the code, give your email and i will send you the sample

I do not want to use a external bmp file.

I capture a frame from a video source as a bmp and then display it in an image control. I would then like to save the bmp in the image control into a Interbase blob field.

When navigating the stored data I want to display the stored bmp from the Interbase blob field in the image control.
