Mmmm ... there was an explanation yesterday, Computers heh !!  I want to find out how to display the warning dialog box when you press CTRL, ALT & DEL to logon.  It comes up then before the logon box and you can edit it to say whatever you want ... you know like a warning statement to say if you are not an authorised user etc.  How do I set it ??
Add the following in the registry.

at place :
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

key
LegalNoticeCaption (string)
LegalNoticeText (string)

reboot computer, and it will work.

Nick.

nickvanderperre is right!  I've implemented this through login scripts on a 1,000 person network.  You can also do it through policies but it was limiting me to 256 characters so that's why I went with the registry entries instead.  There's a way to force policies to use more than 256 characters but it doesn't work unless all of your servers are SP6 or higher (I think).
