Opening a Crystal Report without showing Form - possible?

Hi All,

I am trying to open a CR7 report, without showing a form, in a separate project. I tried the following methods:

1) Using the CR ActiveX Control
I use the ActiveX control in a form, and show it in the form load, then I dont have a way to close the form, unless I provide a button or something to close the form, that is, the user needs to interact, for closing the form, after viewing the report. This is not intended for.

2) Using CR Smart Viewer/RDC
Here, the problem is the report need to be designed within VB, or imported from another report, but only in design time, this can be done, it appears. I want it to display any report, that I wish to, so cannot decide in design time or hard-code a report design in RDC.

3) Using CR Print Engine Automation Library (CRPEAUT32.DLL), also, similar problem as 1.

Is there a way to open CR, from VB, without showing a form. Or if not, is there a way to avoid the Logon Parameters dialog box, when the report is compiled from CR
itself?

Thanks in advance.
