Error 5834

We have a Japanese user using software developed in the US (of course).  One portion of our application uses VBA in MS Word to perform a document conversion from SGML format to Word.  When he runs the conversion, he get an error 5834, which reads "Specified Name cannot be found".  Does anyone know what this error is, what causes this message to appear, and a way to fix the problem (if possible).

On needs to know the line where the error occurs as first debugging step...
Then check the parameters and the limitations of the functions called...
Search for bugs regarding that functions...

Thanks for your response Angelll, but experienced developer here!  I do understand the needed debugging steps.  Unfortunately, no one here knows Japanese or has the Japanese versions of 98 & office 2000.  I think that this error is native only to those environments.  I have performed searches on MS's MSDN and across the WWW, but have had no success in finding what the error is caused by (usually MS will tell you that much).

You can do better than that!

Sorry, i didn't assume that you weren't experienced...

if have only seen this one:
http://www.mindman.com/wwwboard/messages/477.html

Now, the error is quite generic, and means that during the conversion an item is called (for example a font, a style or so), using it's name, which can't be found with the it's name.

Hope this helps
