Outlook error in FLDPUB.DLL

I?m running Microsoft Outlook 2000 (SR-1 v 9.0.0.3821) in corporate work group mode using net folders to share information with my co-workers. Now my outlook crashes after a few minutes.
The error message is as follows: ?Outlook has caused an error in FLDPUB.DLL. If you continue to experience problems, re-start your computer.? Re-booting doesn?t help. I tried the ?detect and repair? function in the help menu, but that didn?t help. It crashed during the process.
Any ideas what I should do to solve this problem?
Thanks for your help.

That would certainly seem to apply, though the error I get does not did not mention an invalid page fault. I was hoping I could repair this problem without destroying the net folders.
Neo, What is an improper registration, and what sort of event could cause this, or damage to files? I have a pretty hefty line conditioner, so I doubt it could be attributable to power surges. The HD is in good shape. Windows is always running, no improper shut downs.
What else could account for this failure?
One more question, if you would please;
Now that I?ve finished re-sharing MY folders, do I also need to re-subscribe to the folders from the other machines?

Improper registration means that the com (activex) libraries didn't place all of the keys in the registry or keys are missing.  (I firmly beleive that the registry goes through minor corruption all the time and we never notice it and/or the registry just lands on a questionable spot on the drive.)

I don't think you have to re-subscribe if you can select File | Share | This folder and see a list of names and permissions.  Try pushing out an update via the properties page of the folder to see if clients receive the updates. (Again, this is a wild guess because NetFolders is a strange creature that behaves differently everytime it is touched.)
Thanks for the info, Neo.
The repair actually did involve completely destroying the net folders and re-building from scratch.
It will take some time to get these systems synchronized again. I had a whole lot of trouble the first time because my ISP has a limit on the number of e-mails we can send and receive per day, as well as a limit on the amount of information they may contain. Some do get dropped which caused me a lot of grief. I am planning on going with another provider soon.
In the meantime, I sure would like to know what could be done to avoid this error from re-occurring. No way I want to go through this every other month!
