ActiveX property deletion

I've developed an activeX control with specified number of properties.When using the control in VB i get additional basic control specific properties in the property list box in VB.For eg i have 2 proprties BgColor and FgColor in the control.But when used in VB there are a lot of other properties such as DragIcon, DragMode,...Is there anyway by which i can remove these unwanted properties? Pls help sooooon

Those are known as "Extender Properties" which are provided by the container (VB) itself. They aren't really 'there'; It's just that VB fakes it and makes it look as though they are part of your object. This is the same reason why, for instance, in VB, your control appears to have .Left/.Right/.Top and similar properties which really don't exist as far as your control is concerned. Fire up the same control on a VC dialog resource and those properties do not show up. The point being: different containers add different Extender properties. Unfortunately, you cannot just remove them.
Basically, if they are not in your idl/odl file 'they aren't yours to hack'.
