The upper part of the dump is very important.  What was the error message?
drcspy,
Run again the setup of Windows2000Pro, at the last stage of GUI mode, sometimes due to the detection of hardwares you may have four times of hanging. It is not applied to all the computer systems. Some may have none of it and some may have once or twice.

When you have met this, run setup again. Windows will skip the last error message and continue setup. You may have to repeat this till Windows2000Pro finished the setup.

After first logon as administrator to your system, inspect again. That problem may not be surfacing again.

Let me know how you made it out. TIA.
