How to diable the console screensaver ?

Can anybody help disabling the standard screensaver (blank-screen or powersafe modus) for the console permanently ?

I'm using Suse Linux, normal login shell (vt100) and do not know how to set the "setterm" paramaters constantly.

thanks in advance

setterm -blank 0 should do the trick.

Put the command at the end of '/etc/rc.d/rc.local'

Or grep for setterm in your /etc/rc.d startup scripts and edit it there.

The only way to set a setterm-parameter 'as fixed' is to reinitialize it every time I boot ?

... looking for another solution ....
Whats the meaning of "setterm -store" ?

if there is no other solution, I will put "setterm -blank 0" in one of the startup scripts
