i have a small paragraph stored as a memo datatype in my MSAccess database.
i want to split this paragraph in to lines and then store it as separate text fields. storing these is not a problem.
but how do i split the paragraph in to lines.
i thought i would check for the new line character.
if this is the right idea, how do i check for the new line character in the paragraph

If you have VB6 then you can easily do this with the split command:

Dim aryLines() As String
aryLines = Split(ContentOfMemoFieldAsString,vbCRLF)

This will give you an array of strings each containing one line from the original content.
