User control help!!!

I have created a user control which I intend to use as an OCX.
The control is a derivative of the standard date picker control.
I have a problem in that when I place the control in a small frame, when I drop the calendar it draws it under the frame edge so I cant see it all (same with the form edge).
How can I overwrite the edge of both the form and the frame?

cheers

You need to manage resize event to acomodate calendar. Set backstyle property to transparent in UserControl so, when it would be larger it doesn't hide other controls in the form.

I already manage the resize of my control and set it to transparent but its the parent form/frame that I need it to overwrite. eg

put a date picker at the very bottom of a form, run it and open the calendar. It draws the calendar over the bottom of the form. how does it o this?

cheers
