I'm trying to use my PC over the Web to get email etc using www.gotomypc.com  but I think I need a way to reboot the machine there is a problem.

I can probably login to the machine and execute a REBOOT
(don't know how yet)

but I have some  Service Control Mgr prompts that require ok buttons

How can I suppress these automatically and allow the system to go ?

I already have autologin built in.

A shutdown will not be stopped by SCM messages. However, I don't fully understand your question. If you want to reboot remotely manually, it shouldn't matter if there are some dialog boxes to click "OK" onto. Or do you want to have a sheduled reboot? What exactly do you want to do?

There are some Serious Remote Server Control Device.
Check the following web site:
http://www.digitalv6.com
As what I know, the Remote KVM Device can be use in any platform (Unix, Mac, PC..), and also remote reboot, and even setup CMOS.

Well, if your budget is tight, or quality/secure is not in concern, then PC Anywhere may do the job

Yeah, I can remotely shutdown ( RESTART ) the PC and my autologin gets me directly back into my desktop with the SCM message box.
The  GOTOMYPC service is running in the tray and I CAN reconnect over the web.

check out www.gotomypc.com

Thanks anyway, Paul
