WINME Booting
a pentium II pc, 64 MB Ram,350 clk speed processor with install winme shows this error below sometimes,
verifying DMI Pool Data
"Disk boot failure,insert system disk & press enter"
before show this error during booting proces i notice
detecting primary master shows none
detecting secondry master shows shows cd rom.
when it shows detecting primary master quntem fireball 6.4 , the pc boot as normal.i check at bios the setting it looks normal, all set in Auto detecting.when the above error shows i try to replace a good 512 Mb HD which install with win98, and restart for several times, but it's never detect this HD also and same error displayed.then i put back the original HD and restart but the error still there.then i swicth off the power, the next day i on the pc, it's detect the HD and the pc run as normal even i restart several times. someday it never detect this Hd and the Error above indicates,Why ?is it the Hd going to fail forever?
