Web wizard project error

Hi,

Has anyone encounter this message in ms interdev 6 when creating a new project? What does this mean anyway?

"Can not create a disk-based Web application in "c:\Inetpub\wwwroot\project1\project1_local". You cannot configure "c:\Inetpub\wwwroot\project1\project1_local" as a Frontpage web, becuase the directory "c:\Inetpub\wwwroot\project1' above is already configure as a Frontpage web.  You can open that web instead.

I am running IIS 5 and Visual Studio 6 Pro on Windows 2000.  I have also installed the service pack 5.

Another questions, what a great book for learning Interdev?

The error means, that since the directory, one level lower (so c:\inetpub\wwwroot\project1\) is allready being used for a Visual Interdev application...anything that is placed a directory deeper than that, allready IS a Visual Interdev directory, therefor it cannot be made a Visual Interdev directory as it automatically is.

What you should do, in order to make a new Visual Interdev project, is to place one besides the project1 directory, so:

c:\inetpub\wwwroot\project1_local\ That would work.

A good book for learning Visual Interdev? I wouldn't know from the top of my head, I have one, and it's ok...but I learn best by doing it..
