Email Data Report

Hello,

A few questions, but if answered I will award 300 points.

(1) Is is possible to send a data report via email? If so, how can this be accomplished? If not, could somebody offer suggestions on how I can send an email that is properly formatted (columns aligned, etc.).

I have a form that uses tab and spaces between the variables, but it looks "crappy" when a value is very long in length -- it pushes the next column over.

(2) Also, is it possible to get an image file to export with a data report.

Thank you!

You can use CDO or CDONTS.

You can do all the things you talked about with it.

Personally, I prefer the .NET smtp engine.

cchenoweth,

Thanks for the suggestion, but is there a way to perform this without using CDONTS?

I have been working on sending the report as an attachment. It works great, but I cannot get the SMTP connection to close.

Thanks again,
