Help Desk System

WE are going to buy an ITD Help Desk system, a good web based system. We need your opinions. This is a large company and the Help Desk is very busy all the time. One critical thing for us is that the Help Desk system should be based in the computer ID instead of the client name because we have frequent changes to our personnel location. If the system gives inventory capabilities and software license tracking, better. Thank you so much.

Remedy seems to be pretty much a standard at the places I work (large utilities).

Is there a way I can see a comparison chart of HelpDesk systems. The one that offers HelpDesk.com is not a good one. What I actually need is an Internal Help Desk system, that has into account the computers, more than the user names. Thank you
