CMP and database field mapping

in a EJB CMP, do you have to map all the coloums/field in the table?
Ex.  I have 10 coloumns/fields but in my cmp i just use the first 3 in my cmp and in  my mapping in the discriptors?

Thanks

I have succesfully created an Entity bean without mapping all of the table columns.

That said, it may depend on the Application server.

Have you tried it? Did it give an error?
