i'm looking for a package in java to handle cards for a card game - moving,displaying, etc.

that's 'The Black Art of 3D Game Progamming'. the java game programming one is also not available in amazon uk.

at long last, i got my hands on a copy of the book. it doesn't seem to have it there, at least not to the extent that i was hoping for, but it does have some great ideas and leads as to how to approach this thing.

The book teaches, among other things, how to create an online mah-jong game, which helped me in ideas and directions with quite a few other problems i had. It did not give me the packages I was looking for, but it gave me some knowledge and directions as to how to create those packages. I can still see some areas where I will encounter problems I was hoping to avoid with the requested package, but one thing at a time.

Overall, the solution didn't solve my problem, but it solved others I had, so it was accepted.
