need information abt zen technology
dear experts
recently i came to know abt novell new networking technology called zen networks.can u provide more info abt this.iam a student and these will really help me in my subjects.does anyone have hands on experience on zen networks.pls help

hi it seems tht its nothing more than remote instllation where u put the setup filesin one place and run installation over a network..still
registry and ini modifications snapshot ad merging it to an ew computer without those software is not new..but there should be something more...

Yes. that is nothing more.
Before installation -copy A
snapshot.exe will take a photocopy of your no of reg entries,no of files and folder,no of ini files & current environmnet setting.
After installing your software -copy B
now also after installatin it will do the same testing.and note down what changes.
now copy b - copy a = changes made by your newly installed software.so it will created an AOT file which contains
info about changes. for AOT u will create application object.then Asso that object to user.
and more over you can do following reg application object.
1 -force run type - need to run whenever use login.
2. on demand - need to distribute whenever user click icon.
and you can paly around LOT of seetting.go thru doc it will give you more info.
