J++ certainly does support javax classes - I use them every day.

To connect to a database, use the JDBC api (java.sql.*).

Your question was clear, but too general.  It is like asking "How do I program in Java?" Clear question, too general.

On my desk I have a 1059-page book on java's JDBC API.  It is called "JDBC API Tutorial and Reference, Second Edition" by White, Fisher, Cattell, Hamilton, and Hapner.  It is a great book and I suggest you start there. I cannot teach you this topic in the context of this forum, as it is huge, and I don't know anything about the database you want to connect to and what environment you are working in. JDBC is the technology you need to use, and it is going to take a few hours of your time to see how to use it.

When you post a 30-point question asking a simple question with a HUGE answer, all you should really expect is to be pointed in the right direction.

If you have a specific question about some particular, I will be happy to answer specifically.

By the way, the import was in my previous comment (java.sql.*).
