Hi all,
  Now I am using xmlGen to retrieve results of querries in xml formate.
Here is the sql.
------------------
select user.Name,user.Phone,class.name class,class.timing timing from user,Class where user.classid = class.classid
-----------------
Its a result in xml.

<Users>
    <User num = "1">
           <Name>adsf</Name>
           <Phone>123-123</Phone>
           <Class>VC</Class>
           <timing>16-03-2002 02:30 pm</timing>
    </User>
    .....
    ....
<Users>

But I want to retrieve xml in this formate.
------------------
<Users>
    <User num = "1">
           <Name>adsf</Name>
           <Phone>123-123</Phone>
           <Classes>
               <Class name = "vc" timing  = "16-03-2002 02:30 pm"/>
           </Classes>

    </User>
    .....
    ....
<Users>

Or
----------------------------

<Users>
    <User num = "1" name="adsf" phone = "123-123">
      <Class name = "vc" timing  = "16-03-2002 02:30 pm"/>
      .....
      ......
    </User>
    .....
    ....
<Users>

Note: Its urgent plz.

Kaspak

You can build and XML tree structure using the Oracle 8i cursor() function as follows:

select T1.Name,T1.Phone, cursor ( select T2.name class,T2.timing timing from Class T2 where T1.classid
= T2.classid ) Classes
from user T1

Hope this helps, sidcap
