Hi,
I just setup Windows2000 Advanced Server on a private IP and I do own a domain name.  I was wondering how I could setup DNS or if you guys know of a good DNS tutorial on setting up and hosting my own site locally here...

Thank you...

There is plenty of help out there. To start with,
http://www.stamey.nu/DNS/
is about the basic concept of Domain Name Servers. It may be a little dated and they deal with NT in particular.
There are other URLs:
1. http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/iaabu/cddm/cddm111/adguide/dns.htm
2. http://www.microsoft.com/technet/treeview/default.asp?url=/TechNet/prodtechnol/windows2000serv/reskit/tcpip/part2/tcpch06.asp  This is from MS and is particularly relevant to Windows2000.
3. http://www.labmice.net/articles/securingwin2000.htm This URL may not be directly related to the DNS issue, but is given in the belief that security is equally important.

Eventhough I was looking for a tutorial where I do not have to read the details, but get the work done...but still thanks.
