Prevent editing in preview pane?

Is it possible to prevent a user from opening a document for edit in the preview pane?

Something that comes to mind is a javascript that I've seen on web pages that says if a page is opened into a frame, it reopens itself without the frame. If you can't prevent editing in the preview pane, could something like that be done so when you open in edit mode it opens it as the whole document rather than as the preview pane?

Use this inpreviewpane property to block the user from edit, Eg:

Sub Postopen(Source As Notesuidocument)
     If Not source.InPreviewPane Then
          source.EditMode = False
' Or open the document in edit mode fully by using EditDocument prop of NotesUIWorkspace
     End If
End Sub

Hello again, HemanthaKumar.

This has pointed me in the right direction. I've actually put this in my query mode change, where I was doing some other checking.

Thanks for the help! -- b.r.t.
