Don't use End!
use unload me instead, if there is one only form.

Hi mohsaid,

could you tell a bit more on what you got at this moment?

a form and a button and now you to save and exit or something.....

or just give a despriction of what the application is and has to do

What does your current code look like? If you mean with "exit" command how to end the application, use the VB keyword "End".

Much better, especially if you have code in the unload events. And in a large application, make sure to loop the Forms collection and unload each and every one of them :)
