How can I limit the size of a folder? (Max. 10M etc.)

Per adowns comment - keep in mind that win2K quota utilities are based on file ownership and based on the entire disk.  If you enable quotas and set a 10 MB limit for a user, that user will be limited to 10 MB on the ENTIRE DISK, not just the one folder.

If you want greater control over Quotas by using per folder quotas, you'd have to use third-party software.

One such third party product is Quota Advisor.  For more information on this product, see http://www.wquinn.com/Products/QuotaAdvisor/

(There are others, though I don't recall thei names off hand...)

Windows 2000 quota function can limit disk quotas in the user level only. If you want to have quota limit to folders, then you can use third party software like quota manager.
